...MAN DOWN...

Danger of black ice indeed! it was good to get on the bike again after a break of too long due to snow, ice and illness. The company was good too in the form of Mark Ivkovic and Ryan "Calamity" Manders...and there lies the sting in the tail of what turned into a eventfull ride. We had some nice pop at the Guy Fawkes to warm up after the first session, then headed out for an other freezing! Mark sailed across the patch of black ice, I fish tailed, but managed to regain my composure, ryan on the otherhand took the full somersault option (What else would you expect from old calamity)! Luckily I had the first aid kit in the shape of a flask of tea and a flask of single malt! then we rode gingerly home! Ryan's off back to Cov' now, so next week it's home riders only!!! Ride safe all! Nick x
